What You’ll Do

Signature Select is adding a Personal Lines Producer to our growing team. As a subsidiary of IMA Financial Group, Signature Select focuses on insurance solutions for small businesses and individuals. Through personal relationships with our clients and carriers, we offer coverages and pricing not commonly found with other brokers and agents.

 

  • Prospect and qualify new personal lines accounts which meet the IMA and Signature Select criteria.
  • Gathering and organization appropriate information required to prepare marketing submission to insurance carrier. Assist in marketing effort as needed.
  • Act as quarterback on strategy meeting to help determine plan to acquire new personal lines accounts.
  • Take complete responsibility for final proposal presentation to include preparation of proposal material, coordinating participation of various IMA/RMA team members, leading the actual presentation effort and closing the sale.
  • Conduct needs review during initial and subsequent qualifying interviews.
  • Assist and support the account management system within the production team.
  • Maintain client contact to assure account retention.
  • Coordinate cross selling opportunities with other sales units at IMA.
  • Participate in designated agency activities to assist in committee projects and management function to help improve the production team.
  • After receiving order on new or renewal sales, coordinate through account management system or directly all agency activities for servicing needs of customer.

 

You Should Have:

  • 2 – 5 years of similar experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for sales presentation and client relationship building.
  • Strong math and analytical skills for proposal preparation.
  • Negotiating skills are vital for this position.
  • Willing to travel as needed.
  • Current Property and Casualty and/or Employee Benefits license is a plus.
