    What You’ll Do

    Responsible for meeting new business acquisition goals of energy clients through the development and maintenance of strong client and carrier relationships and focused sales strategies.  Continually seeks ways to improve knowledge and expertise.  Completes all duties and readily assists in the training and ongoing coaching of service team.  Treats clients, company personnel, and associates with respect and courtesy.


    Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Initiates sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, industry related events and retail sales calls
    • Responsible for renewal and retention of accounts, and the ultimate profitability of team
    • Serves as the technical resource for all team members
    • Establishes and maintains market and agent relationships and strategies
    • Trains and mentors servicing team

    You Should Have:

    • At least five years of similar or related experience, specifically must have experience within the energy industry
    • Undergraduate degree in risk management, insurance or finance equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Applicable state P&C and Surplus license
    • Strong sales and marketing skills
    • Solid business acumen
    • Interest in continued education and professional development
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, both internally and externally
    • Ability to motivate or influence others with a significant level of diplomacy and trust
    • Some travel required
