What You’ll Do

The IMA Financial Group, is looking for a digital-native, self-starter with armature writing skills to lend part time support to IMA’s marketing team.


Expectation is to help facilitate, complete and occasionally create optimized web content for the IMA family of websites, social media channels (specifically LinkedIn and Twitter) and email marketing vehicles. Daily tasks will include:

  • Build out of new webpages in WordPress CMS based on provided content
    • Embed links, graphics or images throughout the text
  • Development of succinct, attention grabbing headlines and content for social media
    • Act as a subject matter expert in the field of social media engagement and deployment
    • Provide suggestions and recommendations on how to cultivate social specific content
  • Producing content-specific email templates using tools such as MailChimp
  • Communicate with IMA’s marketing team for consistency in voice and brand

Due to the digital nature of the work, knowledge of basic design fundamentals and a familiarity with digital content management systems is necessary. We have an expectation of effective, time-sensitive communication, strict deadlines, and an ability to follow editorial guidelines from different associates while managing your own time. You will be responsible for having your own computer and writing equipment to facilitate a proper digital work environment.


This is a remote, part-time, contract position with the expectation of 5-10 hours of work per week.  Some travel to the Denver or Wichita office will be expected. 

You Should Have:

  • An established LLC or similar business to operate as a stand alone contractor or vendor.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the highest attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadline expectations is necessary.
  • In order to be considered, along with a resume, you must submit samples or links to examples of your experience in ALL three areas:
    • Social Media Management - highlighting your contribution to a campaign or a channel that you manage.
    • Webpage building and/or editing - explaining your responsibilities on the page. 
    • Email Campaign Example
