What You’ll Do

The Communications and Public Relations Intern will work with the Communications and Marketing Team on a variety of projects.  This is a full time, paid internship for someone who is excited to oversee multiple projects, has a passion for community service/fundraising, and is an energetic as we are.

 

General Job Duties Include:

  • Drafting internal, company-wide communications such as newsletter and industry updates.
  • Managing social media accounts. 
  • Collaborating with department leads on marketing projects and collateral creation.
  • Coordinating all preparation for the "Ping Pong On the Plaza" Fundraiser for the IMA Foundation:
    • Soliciting Sponsors
    • Marketing and Advertising Efforts
    • Participant sign up and money collection
  •  Assist with general administrative duties for the team.

You Should Have:

  • Pursuing a Marketing, Communications, or Public Relationships Degree. Junior year students will be given preference.
  • Previous internship in a related field is preferred. 
  • Highest level of attention to detail for communications is required. 
  • Strong knowledge of AP style writing.
  • Proven project management skills and capabilities.
  • An entrepreneurial with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
