    What You’ll Do

    Serve as the intermediate role to the IMA’s claims philosophy of delivering compelling claims

    services focused on impacting favorable results through advocacy and consulting. This position will focus on maintaining internal and external relationships while at the same time dealing with more complex claims issues. This position has an intermediate level of expertise in the insurance and claims arena and will become more involved in the sales process and client retention efforts.


    • Maintain an approach that focuses on outcomes, not activities
    • Be a proactive advocate for the timely resolution of claim matters for our internal and external clients
    • Communicate pertinent claim information on a timely basis to internal and external clients
    • Maintain external relationships and market to internal and external clients.
    • Develop strong working knowledge of Sagitta, Risk Master and Carrier Interface Systems
    • Develop presentation skills to participate in the sales process and client retention efforts
    • Proactive management and execution of claim aspects of Customer Service Plan (CSP)
    • Assist on Claims Projects, reports, loss runs and any other tasks as assigned

    You Should Have:

    • Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
    • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
    • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.
    • Prior claim experience required or coordination of claim and general insurance experience.
    • Strong communication skills and basic mathematical skills required.
    • Ability to discuss and solve claim problems with clients and insurance carriers.
    • Proficient computer skills
