    What You’ll Do

    Actively participate in team consisting of Sales, Account Executives, Processing and Servicing

    Account Managers in coordinating and providing IMA services to our commercial clients involving a

    high degree of complexity and responsibility.  Assist in the training and growth of team members.

     

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

     

    • In conjunction with Processing Account Manager, responsible for account servicing needs during the policy year including binders, certificates, auto ID cards, filings, endorsements etc.
    • Accountable for maintaining account files including Sagitta data base, core files and transactional files. Responsible for resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues.
    • Coordinates the preparation of renewal submissions including gathering information, marketing and/or delivery of submissions to underwriters.
    • Responsible for preparing the proposal of final coverages for the client and for negotiating coverage and premium issues with the company on renewal business as needed.
    • Coordinate strategy meetings and participate in client account review meetings, marketing meetings and/or trips and client proposal presentations.
    • Assist in training and growth of team members or other associates as needed.
    • Actively support the team by participating in the completion of all duties required to complete a project and service an account.

    You Should Have:

    • Three or more years of similar or related experience
    • A Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or education equivalent to a degree 
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Courtesy, tact and diplomacy as much of the work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization
    • Strong mathematical abilities and reasoning skills
    • The ability to interpret insurance documents
    • The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Expertise and familiarity with Excel, rates, ratios, percentages, discounts and commissions
    • A Property & Casualty license for the state of business and will fulfill continuing education requirements to retain licensing
    • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products and other programs
    • The willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibilities as the need arises
