    What You’ll Do

    Actively participate in team consisting of Sales/Account Executives, Processing and Servicing Account Managers in coordinating and providing IMA services to our commercial clients.

     

    Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • In conjunction with other team members: responsible for account servicing needs during the policy year including binders, certificates, auto ID cards, filings, ordering endorsements etc. Accountable for maintaining account files including Sagitta data base, core files and transactional files.
    • Assist in risk and exposure analysis and complete renewal process on designated existing accounts as follows: 1) Request loss runs from insurance carriers; 2) Prepare and/or update premium and loss summary on system;  3) Prepare account review according to standards set forth by the IMA Commercial workflow;   4) Coordinate timeframes with Servicing Account Manager.
    • Set up and maintain the follow up on direct bill and premium finance cancellations in accordance with the established IMA Procedure. Process policy cancellations as necessary.
    • Prepare Experience Modification projections as directed by Producer, Account Executive or Servicing Account Manager.
    • Prepare premium allocations with direction of Processing Account Manager.
    • Assist with special projects and reports as requested by Account Executive, or Servicing and/or Processing Account Managers.
    • Set & maintain regular follow up for final audits on expired and/or non‑renewed policies. Process audits and update exposure comparison.
    • Actively support the team by participating in the completion of all duties required to complete a project and service an account.

    You Should Have:

    • Six months to two years of similar or related experience
    • An Associate’s Degree or experience equivalent to a degree (Bachelor’s Preferred)
    • Excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to present and articulate complex issues in a clear and concise manner
    • Strong reasoning skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data and can clearly communicate ideas in a concise manner
    • The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
    • Demonstrated the commitment to work through projects to completion
    • The ability to be persuasive while maintaining good relationships
    • A high degree of tact and diplomacy with the ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products and other programs
    • The willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibilities as the need arises
