What You’ll Do

As a Client Advisor you will participate and partner with a team in coordinating and providing IMA Select services to our commercial clients involving a high degree of complexity and responsibility.    

  • Responsible for coordinating account servicing needs during the policy year for accounts in accordance with IMA Select P&C Service Expectations including, ordering and processing endorsements, audits, auto ID cards, invoicing.
  • Coordinate the preparation of new and renewal submissions including gathering information, marketing and/or delivery of submissions to underwriters.
  • Responsible for preparing proposal of final coverages and presenting to the client and for negotiating coverage and premium issues with the company on renewal business as needed.
  • Assist in developing sales of new or additional lines of coverage.
  • Develop and maintain proactive communication level with clients. Apprise Producers of any potential issues that may arise.
  • Actively support the team by participating in the completion of all duties required to complete a project and service an account
  • Coordinate strategy meetings and participate in client account review meetings, marketing meetings and/or trips and client proposal presentations
  • Be accountable for maintaining account files in Epic database.
  • Responsible for resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues.

You Should Have:

  • Three to five years of similar or related experience
  • Education that is equivalent to a college degree (College Degree Preferred)
  • Actively working towards a professional designation programs such as CISR, AU, CPCU etc.
  • Industry class experience to include Commercial Lines products
  • A Property and Casualty license required for state of business and will fulfill continuing education requirements to retain the license.
  • The ability to interpret insurance documents
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Math skills
  • Strong common sense and ability to handle standard situations, handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Expertise with Excel, rates, ratios, percentages, discounts and commissions
  • Proficiency in computer skills and programs such as Microsoft Office
  • The willingness to complete additional duties and take on additional responsibility as the need arises
