What You’ll Do

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Director, Business Development, is responsible for the organization of new diligence opportunities. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values.
  • Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients to understand their financial diligence needs.
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate leads and expand the client-base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored financial diligence proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, and providing exceptional service throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and seeking opportunities for cross-selling additional services.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop strategic plans to position the company's financial diligence services competitively in the market.
  • Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products and services provided by RedRidge.
  • Enter and maintain all prospective and active client data in company-directed contact management software system (SalesForce).

You Should Have:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS include but are not limited to:

  • Six or more years of proven experience in business development or sales within the financial services industry, specifically in financial diligence or advisory services.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to maintain project deadlines and focus.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience with SalesForce (preferred) and MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams).
  • Moderate travel (25-50%).
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting (major preferred).
