- Supports Account Manager in daily tasks and projects, including client and carrier communication, renewing client benefits, assisting with open enrollment and performing
- Assists with calls and emails for questions concerning medical, dental, vision, life insurance and other benefits.
- Involved with enrollment processes by entering enrollments in systems, helping Human Resource clients and employees, and submitting information to insurance
- Assists with compliance by providing clients documents, requesting information from insurance carriers, and record keeping of up-to-date

- Serves as the day-to-day contact for all client requests within a book of business (primarily Mid-Market accounts OR Emerging accounts) with direction from the Producer and prepares (or delegates where applicable) all relevant renewal materials (Premium & loss summary, exposures, coverage comparison, premium & rate, etc.)
- Partners with Producer on client interactions, negotiations, technical analysis, and program design
- Supports Producer with new client onboarding
- Building ability to anticipate problems through client or underwriter communications or industry changes
- Using the client workbook, and under the direction of the Producer, creates the marketing submission and manages ongoing negotiation with carriers
- Receives quotes, reviews for accuracy and desired coverages, terms, pricing from submission, generates and populates the proposal, and sends to Producer for completion/review
- Receives policies, sends instructions to the applicable Account Coordinator or team member, and keeps team abreast of any changes that occur during negotiations with ability to process the policy if needed
- Performs premium allocations, surplus lines template preparation, Certificate of Insurance request template preparation & master approval, on-demand certificates, basic contract reviews, policy endorsements, resolving coverage and premium discrepancy issues, and audits on expired and/or non-renewed policies

- Performs administrative and complex clerical work
- Processes enrollments and changes; ensures systems and information are accurate and updated in a timely manner using confidential information
- Works with internal and external contacts - both verbal and written communication.

Diversified Insurance, a division of IMA Inc., is seeking an Account Coordinator on our Employee Benefits –Pharmacy Team. As Account Coordinator, you will provide exceptional customer service, streamlining the manufacturer assistance process or enrolling in international shipping, ensuring a seamless transition over to our pharmacy programs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides assistance to pharmacy advocate staff and patients to complete and submit all necessary forms and program applications.
- Completes and submits all necessary forms in a timely manner. Tracks and follows up on status of applications.
- Frequently works in Excel spreadsheets tocreate and analyze enrollment, use and revenue tracking.
- Communicates effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and third party representatives
- Maintains frequent phone contact with provider representatives, third party customer service representatives, and pharmacy staff.

- Maintains overall responsibility of the entire renewal with the Producer (policy review, setting the game plan, loss analysis, program design, data completeness within AMS, coverage & premium discrepancy issues, etc.) for all existing accounts
- Supports in winning new business and set up of new accounts
- Maintains intimate knowledge of clients' business operations, strategies, and needs throughout the year
- Kicks-off the client renewal process by creating the Game Plan and completing a coverage analysis (if applicable) and conducting thorough reviews of the policies and all relevant documents
- Prepares for and facilitates meetings with key IMA stakeholders and clients
- Crafts the marketing strategies, reviews submissions, and engages in negotiations with underwriters to determine the relevant content to include in proposals
- Pursues mastery of the craft through on-going education and awareness of industry trends, products, and services
- Develops & maintains carrier relationships
- Manages a book of business with $900k - 2 Million in revenue
- Plays a lead role on three or more large/complex client accounts
- Spends 5-10% of time supporting producers in winning new business
